FAQs
what’s the difference between an infrared sauna and a traditional sauna?
traditional saunas heat the air around you (typically to 90°C). this heat has contact with your skin and causes a superficial sweat. due to the high temperature most people can only tolerate short periods of time
our infrared (IR) saunas use carbon panels to emit a spectrum of infrared heat, up to 60°C. the radiant heat penetrates your skin. this causes a sweat that steeps toxins from the depths of your skin, where heat from traditional saunas can’t reach. you’ll find you’re able to endure the heat for longer periods of time, leading to faster benefits
our saunas are full-spectrum, meaning they emit far-, mid- and near-infrared heat
far-IR has a similar wavelength to what your body emits, generating a productive sweat at the cellular level. FIR is known for increasing circulation, boosting metabolism, expediting recovery and improving cellular oxygen-levels. a study showed that FIR increases the body’s production of nitric oxide, which has been linked to the treatment of chronic conditions
mid-IR is associated with increased circulation and vasodilation, allowing oxygenated blood to reach deep into your tissues, facilitating healing and regeneration
near-IR has been shown to reduce inflammation, increase collagen production, and stimulate the healing of damaged tissues
what should i wear?
bathing suits and towels are required for each user in the saunas and cold plunge for hygiene purposes
we recommend wearing shoes that are easy to slip on and off
